Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently during service. Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with the estates culinary standards. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and refine existing menus. Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations. Manage mise en place, stock levels, and waste control in your section. Help mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team culture. Participate in events, wine pairings, and private dining experiences as required. Requirements: A formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional training. Minimum 23 years experience in a similar role within a fine dining or 5-star hospitality environment. Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of modern cooking techniques. A passion for seasonal, local ingredients and beautifully crafted food. Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork. Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen.
