Job Description
He/she ensures proper and timely supply of material to the line. He/she defines and manages the processes to continually optimize plant inventory levels in terms of safety stock, material availability, and customer delivery. He/she manages space distribution for storage related to arrivals and planned shipments. He/she manages the bubbles tax (DDT) of documentation issued related to goods entrance and exit from the warehouse. He/she plans transports in accordance with company policies, oversees the respect of quality standards, and at the same time, optimizes costs. He/she prepares the industrial indicators of the plant. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: He/she ensures knowledge of the logistics services market in terms of rules and services, analyzes requests coming from business and production groups, and researches and selects logistics services suppliers. He/she negotiates logistics service fares, agrees with all players in the process on the rules to be included in the contracts, and manages the logistics services process while monitoring service levels. He/she delivers solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements. He/she monitors quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs. He/she contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. He/she ensures that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain department. Excellent knowledge of forms for registration of goods inbound and outbound. Knowledge about administrative tax procedures related to shipments. Team working attitudes. Effective communication and project presentation capacity, time management ability, and problem-solving techniques knowledge. Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English.
