Assistant Sommelier

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Sommelier for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens. The individual is passionate about wines and hospitality, a team player with good verbal and communication skills. This role requires strong interpersonal and sales skills. Main responsibilities: Provide advice and guidance to guests on wine pairings. Offer unique wine journeys to guests. Candidate profile: Previous experience in a similar role in luxury hotels is required. Fluent level of English is requested. Knowledge of food & service is mandatory. Knowledge of wines and its regions is compulsory. Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
