About the Company: For a multinational market leader in the consumer electronics, our Recruitment Engineer is looking for a Software Engineer AS400 . Core Responsibilities: You will work in the applications domain, focusing on designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable and stable technology solutions that integrate with our core business platforms, with a main focus on AS400 and SAP Retail ERP systems. You will collaborate with multiple business departments to ensure seamless system integration and efficiency. You will contribute: Participate and contribute in the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing ones; Provide input on overall solution architecture, with a main focus on AS400 and future SAP Retail migration; Coordinate with suppliers to build and test applications; Meet with business partners to understand business needs; Conduct root cause analysis and implement basic performance tuning; Ensure solution meets business needs. Must Have: Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related degree; 5-10 years of experience in software development, system integration, and ERP solutions; Strong expertise in AS400 and SAP Retail; Knowledge of the software development life-cycle; Experience in the usage of UML; An individual with 3-4 years of experience in a similar position; An expert in Retail system integration, Retail application delivery, technically proficient but business minded; Experienced in a Retail and omnichannel operations context; Team player, collaborative with a remarkable client-first attitude; Concrete, rational and able to work with tight deadlines; Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
