The Role of Trainee Workshop Technician: Workshop based in Kenilworth, (90% of the time), with occasional site visits (10%). Carrying out repairs, services and calibrations to pneumatic and electrical tooling equipment. Utilising electrical and mechanical engineering skills. Receiving training on cutting edge machinery and systems. Supporting an established existing team of service and workshop engineers. A Mon - Fri role working 40 hours per week before overtime; 8am - 5:30pm. Ideal Background for the Trainee Workshop Technician: A strong mechanical understanding with a related engineering qualification (NVQ, BTec, City & Guilds, etc.) Seeking training and a long-term career. Familiarity with tooling and pneumatics is beneficial. Engineers from the Armed Forces are also advised to apply. Good communication and IT skills. Willing / able to commute to Kenilworth daily. You'll need a full driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
