Asset Officer

I am currently recruiting for an Asset Officer for a period of around 3-6 months. The role will be based in Glasgow and will involve some travel and a minimum of 1 day per week in the office. The main duties of the role will be : Responsibility for planned projects and adaptations within the properties to include preparing sketches, technical specifications/descriptions of work and to obtain contractor's quotations Provide onsite project management of planned refurbishments and major repairs from inception to completion in order to efficiently deliver the approved programme in compliance with the allocated budget Draw up specifications, obtain quotations, issuing tenders, providing tender reports, obtaining approvals and issuing contracts in line with policy and procedures You will have to have experience undertaking a similar role and a relevant technical HNC or above would be preferred. Start for the role is as soon as possible.
