Job Description Job Description A food manufacturing company located in Corona, CA is currently seeking 1st & 2nd Shift Production General Laborers/ Warehouse personnel to join their production department. This is an excellent opportunity to work for our brand-new facility, with competitive wages and benefits on offer. This is a 3 to 4 weeks, possible temporary-to-permanent job role that offers the possibility of growth within the company. Please review the job requirements listed below to be considered for this position. P ay Rate : $18.00 to $19/hour 1st Shift: Day Shift: 5:00am to 1:30pm (Monday to Friday) $18.00 2nd Shift : 1:00pm to 9:30pm (Monday to Friday) $19.00 (2nd shift will train on 1st shift at the pay rate of $18.00) Essential Duties Include: Primary responsibilities including shrink wrapping full pallets by hand, loading and unloading, make boxes, and material handling Receiving, inspecting, pouring, milling, packing, and distributing the product. Adhere to standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Ability to read instructions and/or labels efficiently, attach labels and tags to products and packages, communicate effectively, and frequently lift raw products in preparation for processing. Transport raw and processed materials to designated areas, using a pallet jack. Ability to prepare freeze-dried products for finished goods completion which will require lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting of goods. A thorough understanding of safe food practices and the ability to follow directions is vital. This role is cross-trained between the stages of freeze-dried goods, processing and sorting, to packaging. Dependability and punctuality to ensure smooth operation of the production line. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Job Requirements: Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and reaching. Ability to work efficiently on a production line, performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Capacity to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules. Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Consistent and reliable attendance Basic computer skills preferred Physical Requirements Include: Must be able to perform the following functions without accommodations: frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 20% sitting, 50% walking, and 50% or more standing. The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing warehouse environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
