Warehouse Associate

Job Description Job Description A rapidly growing technology company is looking for a Warehouse Associate in their manufacturing operations. The warehouse associate reports to the kitting and warehouse lead and is responsible for activities to support their overall manufacturing operations, including tasks critical to the successful functioning of their enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and quality management system (QMS). The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. This is a temp to hire position and pay starts at $20 an hour. Once hired, a competitive employee benefits package is available. Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities: Pull inventory required for assembly in accordance with Bills of Materials and Work Orders Pre-assemble and sub-assemble parts, as needed Assist the production manager, production assemblers, and quality manager, as needed Accurately maintain inventory and inventory records utilizing online computer system and scanner Participate in periodic cycle counts and year-end inventory Create ID labels and Stock Cards Assist with quality inspections on incoming shipments Warehouse Associate Basic Requirements: Minimum Education: high school diploma or GED Read, write, and speak English Team player and able to work well with other members of our team Quick learner and have a desire to work on multiple tasks and expand knowledge Ability to stay calm and focused in a challenging environment 2 years of warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) Prior experience with computerized inventory control systems Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks Able to work on feet for most of shift and to lift 50 pounds Benefits Include: paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), and medical insurance (partial company payment of employee medical insurance premium and full company payment of employee dental and vision insurance premiums).
