TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fall River Mills, California, 96028 Pay Information $2,506 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Med-Surg Adult Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 4:45 pm - 5:15 am Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current licensure in good standing in the state Certifications: Current CPR certification, ACLS required within one year of hire date Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Job Description: - Administer nursing care to patients efficiently, safely, and courteously using proper procedures. - Conduct individualized patient assessments and ongoing assessments as required. - Develop and implement a plan of care that is tailored for each patient, collaborating with healthcare team members. - Perform accurate and timely treatments as ordered by the physician. - Maintain cleanliness in work areas and restock supplies as needed. - Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs. - Document patient assessments, responses to interventions, and progress towards resolving issues. - Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to protocols. - Maintain confidentiality regarding patient, family, and staff information. - Provide care that respects patient and family diversity, ensuring non-judgmental service. - Report patient conditions accurately to appropriate personnel during each shift. - Adhere to safety and infection control standards in delivering patient care. - Attend departmental meetings and educational in-services. - Coordinate with other departments for smooth patient transfers for procedures or diagnostic tests. - Supervise and support less experienced staff, including LVNs and non-professional staff. - Interpret basic arrhythmias and care for outpatients requiring blood transfusions according to policy. Professional Requirements: - Adhere to the dress code; maintain a neat and professional appearance. - Complete annual education requirements if applicable. - Maintain regulatory requirements and wear identification while on duty. - Attend annual evaluations and actively participate in them. - Arrive to work on time and complete work within designated periods. - Represent the organization’s mission, ethics, and goals while performing job duties.
