We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Financial Modeling & Analytics Manager to join the team in our Charlotte office . CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. YOUR TEAM. This position will support Project Finance & Consulting group. This group provides cutting edge financial modeling and tax credit modeling services to a range of clients. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Developing and maintaining complex financial models. Leveraging Microsoft Fabric to store financial modeling and other data in a data warehouse. Developing Power BI reports to provide insights and support business operations. Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations based on findings. Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial models and reports. Developing creative solutions to solve clients pain points. Providing training and support to team members on financial modeling, data, and analytics projects. YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: 3-5 years financial modeling/financial analyst experience. BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or economics a plus. Demonstrated ability to work in a consulting environment managing multiple client deliverables. Experience training other team members and providing critical feedback. Solid understanding of basic finance, accounting, and/or tax concepts. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into work product. Ability to translate complex issues and communicate them to audiences at various levels of technical ability. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a requirement. Experience with commercial real estate, renewable energy, or private equity a plus. Experience with deal underwriting, partnership tax concepts, or financial planning and analysis concepts a plus. Strong communication skills, with proven ability to coherently express complex concepts, both verbally and in writing. Detail oriented and deadline driven in a fast-paced culture. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in an environment of multiple responsibilities independently. CPA certification a plus.
