Revit Technician

The company offers numerous options to help its employees achieve their financial, professional, and wellness goals through: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off Company-provided life insurance policy 401(k) plan and match Gym membership reimbursement Career development and opportunities for advancement Charitable activities and more General Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Revit Team Leader and Revit Operators in maintenance of library of Brightland Homes' plans Create address-specific construction documents from stock plan library for permitting and starts for various markets Check and verify address-specific documents received from 3rd party providers to conform to Brightland Homes' specifications, design criteria, and option selections Review and revise architectural plans, elevations, and options, and thoroughly coordinate all sheets that are affected by any changes Release accurate drawings per design criteria Maintain standardized Revit design standards, minimizing variations as much as possible Identify plan errors Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, CAD, Drafting & Design Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM360, Design Review, and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail Adept at learning new software Driven to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on the phone and via email Adaptable and able to maintain cooperative relationships in a cohesive team environment Highly organized, accurate, and precise in work functions Able to self-direct work on multiple projects in order to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in REVIT Prior experience with 2D/3D CAD drafting or 3D modeling in a professional environment General knowledge of residential plans and construction drawings Knowledge of residential construction practices and techniques Understanding of building systems, interference coordination with other building elements, and 3D visualization Experience with VisionEZ and LotSpec At Brightland Homes, LTD., employment decisions are based on personal capabilities and qualifications without regard to sex, race, creed, color, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
