Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Home Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing tasks in residential properties, ensuring quality service, customer satisfaction, and efficient system repairs or installations. You will diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in homes. Key Responsibilities: Plumbing System Installation & Repairs: Install, repair, and replace pipes, faucets, water heaters, toilets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing systems and fixtures. Diagnosing Plumbing Issues: Troubleshoot and identify plumbing problems using diagnostic tools and methods to provide accurate solutions. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain plumbing issues, offer cost-effective solutions, and provide accurate estimates and timelines. Emergency Services: Provide emergency plumbing services as needed, including 24/7 emergency repair work for burst pipes, flooding, leaks, and other urgent issues. System Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to identify potential issues and help customers avoid future repairs. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all plumbing work is done in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and customer feedback. Prepare and submit service reports and invoices. Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns professionally, ensuring that customers are fully satisfied with all work performed. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to solve complex plumbing problems and ensure smooth operation of daily services. Qualifications: Education & Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred. Licensing & Certification: Valid plumber’s license (or in the process of obtaining one, if applicable). Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience: 2 years of plumbing experience, with a focus on residential plumbing. Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic software. Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment, crawl in tight spaces, and work in various physical conditions, including in confined or elevated areas. Additional Requirements: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required. We primarily focus on new-construction and are growing our new construction home-services business quickly. We need experienced plumbers across the skills, in rough in, finish, and in home services. The new owner is investing energy and resources to grow in the area of Apex, Morrisville, Durham, and Cary, NC. Company Description Sweetwater Plumbing is a local (non-franchise) plumbing company that is growing it's business quickly. We primarily focus on new-construction and are growing our new construction home-services business quickly. We need experienced plumbers across the skills, in rough in, finish, and in home services. The new owner is investing energy and resources to grow in the area of Apex, Morrisville, Durham, and Cary, NC.
