Patient Ratios 1:4-5 Type of equipment Emar carts, bladder scanner, accuvein, Welch allyn vitals machines EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS Required 1.5 years nursing experience Med Surg experience Can-Do attitude Good communication skills Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. MediTech experience preferred Liver and Kidney experience (not necessarily transplant) List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Nephrectomy Hepatobiliary (hepatectomy, Whipple, liver resection), with drain management Kidney biopsy Hernia and choley (will NOT care for fresh transplant patients) Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - Navy Blue scrub top and pants, white or navy jacket Nail Policy clean and health, without polish Hair hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustache and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Tattoos body art should be covered whenever possible.
