Job Description Job Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Waipahu, Hawaii. The successful candidate will be at the heart of our financial operations, dealing with a range of responsibilities including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities include: • Efficiently processing customer credit applications • Ensuring accurate customer credit records are maintained • Recording daily sales from all retail locations and affiliates • Preparing journal entries and monthly reports for external agencies • Creating client invoices and reaching out to clients for necessary information • Recording unearned income and allocating to sales on a monthly basis • Preparing and reconciling quarterly royalty payments • Managing and reconciling grant income and tracking fund spending • Assisting with Accounts Payable when needed • Undertaking clerical functions such as filing, scanning, mailing, and organizing files • Providing support to other departments as necessary. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounts receivable or a related area. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records. • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), including tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues. • Experience in billing, with the ability to prepare, review, and send invoices to customers. • Proficiency in cash applications, ensuring that all cash receipts are applied to the correct customer accounts. • Demonstrable experience in cash collections, with a focus on maintaining low levels of delinquency. • Experience in commercial collections, with an understanding of commercial credit and collection laws. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis and data management. • Familiarity with Oracle, specifically its financial management systems. • Experience with QuickBooks, with the ability to manage and track financial transactions effectively.
