Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/21/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 35 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWOHNN-Intermediate or Advanced. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care, high Spanish speaking, tele monitoring. Spanish speaking would be great. - Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge. Preferred: experience with spinning babies. - Are RNs required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood.
