About the Company: Active Ants is a rapidly growing E-Fulfilment company headquartered in Nieuwegein. In our warehouses, we manage inventory for various online stores, ship their orders, and process returns. A significant part of our order process is mechanized through our Autostore storage and order picking system, fully automated packing machines, and goods moving through our warehouse via fully automatic roller conveyors or robots. This makes our e-fulfilment service sustainable and reduces our footprint. We currently have warehouses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and England and are looking forward to expanding to more countries in Europe with our E-Fulfilment concept. About the Role: As a Senior Developer, you will work on our own Warehouse Management System called "Maya" (for My Active Ants) and the surrounding systems. Maya connects over 300 webshops to our eFulfilment environment. We provide our customers with peace of mind by processing millions of orders per year. In addition to these API-based connections, we also use highly innovative automated systems in the various warehouses. The core of our total solution revolves around 'AutoStore,' but we also use picking robots, Autonomous Moving Robots, fully automated packing stations, 3D cameras for product dimensioning, and many other cool technologies. Responsibilities: Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, particularly as we are migrating to a Micro Services Architecture. Minimum 5 years of experience delivering enterprise software in ASP.NET/Core, C#, MVC, EF, Rest APIs, Web Applications, and Distributed Systems Development. Minimum 5 years of experience in using design patterns such as MVC, CQRS, SOLID principles, and Micro Services Architectures. Hands-on experience with best practices in security. Effective communication in English. Qualifications: Minimum HBO level of education. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, including Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, API Gateway, Database as a Service / Datalakes, Azure DevOps. Minimum 5 years of experience delivering enterprise software in ASP.NET/Core, C#, MVC, EF, Rest APIs, Web Applications, and Distributed Systems Development. Minimum 5 years of experience in using design patterns such as MVC, CQRS, SOLID principles, and Micro Services Architectures. Hands-on experience with best practices in security. Effective communication in English. Preferred Skills: Continuous focus on innovation and the ability to work with "cool stuff" (and it's just a really fun team).
