About the Role As a Logistics Cost Management Specialist at SHEIN, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost management strategies for all transportation and logistics related operations across South America. This is a key role within our logistics team, focusing on optimizing cost-efficiency and ensuring financial transparency and control across the entire logistics process. Responsibilities Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: Analyze operational data to identify key factors influencing cost reduction and operational efficiency, proposing and implementing strategic solutions to optimize logistics operations and minimize expenses across transportation channels. System Development and Data Analysis: Lead the development of logistics cost business analysis systems, including the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs), managerial reports, and special analyses. These systems will support decision-making for both strategic and operational logistics management. Project Management: Serve as a Project Manager (PM) for cost management initiatives, developing specialized analysis plans with allocated budgets, investment approval controls, cost review processes, and financial indicator monitoring to ensure project success. Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between planning, operations, finance, HR, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless data integration and alignment of business and financial analyses. Work to standardize forecasting and planning processes across teams. Online Analysis Systems Implementation: Implement and continuously optimize business analysis systems to support data-driven decisions in logistics and transportation. Ensure systems are aligned with the company's strategic and operational goals. Logistics Operations Expansion Support: Provide operational support for the expansion of logistics networks in South America. This includes overseeing the onboarding process for new suppliers, partner approvals, and ensuring proper handling of invoice receipt, validation, and payment. Payments and Cost Structure Development: Lead the mapping of processes and design the financial framework to optimize the management of road transportation operations, ensuring accurate cost tracking and efficient payments. OPEX Management: Monitor and control operational expenses, ensuring accurate calculations, financial compliance, and transparency in accounting records. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure cost management meets company standards. Budget and Forecasting Support: Assist in the development and regular updates of the budget, ensuring accurate forecasting of logistics costs. Help refine projections to enhance financial accuracy and operational planning. Billing and Payment Management: Oversee billing and payment processes, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate audits, and prompt resolution of discrepancies. Monitor and report on financial performance to ensure cost-efficiency across all logistics functions. Suppliers Terms & Conditions Execution: Ensure the strict execution of logistics contract terms based on vendor performance, applying penalties or discounts as per the agreed Terms & Conditions. Monitor compliance, track financial impact, and collaborate with internal teams to enforce corrective actions when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or finance within the road transport or logistics industry. Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish and Mandarin are plus. Proficiency in data extraction tools such as SQL and Tableau; advanced skills in Excel and MS Office. Strong knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management, and transportation operations. Ability to bridge operations and finance, with a keen focus on cost analysis and financial viability assessments. Experience with accounting analysis, purchase orders, and contract management. Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to implement systemic and operational improvements across cross-functional teams.
