Cover Supervisor

Prospero Teaching are looking for Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers to work with schools in the Southampton area, specifically around Hamble, Bursledon and Hedge End. You will be working with a number of different schools, all who have experienced and supportive Senior Leadership Teams, where you will be required to cover a range of subjects and classes on a full time or adhoc basis - this is a great opportunities for a Graduate or someone with experience working in an Education environment. We are currently working with Mainstream Secondary and Primary Schools, as well as SEN/Alternative Provisions who cater for pupils aged between 10 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plans, serving a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including; Social, Emotional & Mental Health and Autistic Spectrum Condition. Contract Details Location - Southampton, Hampshire Position - Cover Supervisor Type of work - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Cover Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp Full time/part time - Full time/adhoc Minimum rate of pay - £120 - £150 a day Hours - 8:30 am - 15.30pm Experience, Training and Qualifications Degree (not essential but preferable) Minimum 1 year experience working with young people Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can offer this if not) Eligibility Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references Other Prospero Teaching is able to offer the successful candidate: Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
