The UPS Store delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. Responsibilities Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance. Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures. Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others. Collect payments by cash and credit card. Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions. Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance. Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company. Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service Willingness to work well in a team environment Ability to quickly and accurately work a register Willingness to work a flexible schedule
