Job Description Job Description Job Description: Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager (Licensed Property and Casualty) Location: Indianapolis, IN (Local Candidates Preferred) Industry: Insurance Position Overview: As a Commercial Property & Casualty Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You'll work directly with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure client satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate their insurance needs while maintaining the agency's reputation for outstanding service. Key Responsibilities: Manage a book of business and serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proactively identifying opportunities for coverage improvements. Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work alongside agents, underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' needs are met and provide high levels of customer service. Assist with claims management and advocate for clients during the claims process. Monitor client satisfaction and make recommendations to improve service as a product. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in an Account Manager or similar role. Knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage options, and industry best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver outstanding client service. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining a positive attitude and a competitive edge. Professional designation such as CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) or CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) is a plus.
